Book
In the spring and summer of 2006 Eva documented Dublin and its environs at the height of the Celtic Tiger. Offsetting the romantic myth of rural Ireland against the reality of a rapidly changing Dublin, the photographs drew on the impact of globalisation, financial speculation and a sense of nostalgia for an often illusory past.
This body of work forms part of the publication ‘Alabama Chrome’ which also includes a collection of essays on Ireland and an overview of works from each of the Gallery’s exhibitions between 2004 — 2006.
